Just to argue the other side of this, I don=B9t know that I would call
overdosing on heroin =B3avoidable.=B2 Speaking as one who=B9s been there, when
you are experiencing unbearable psychic pain you will do anything to make i=

go away. Anything. And you=B9re not in a position to see what=B9s right or
wrong anymore or to help yourself out.
Not to condone drug use in any form. I don=B9t. But I just don=B9t think it=B9s
as easy as =B3Just Say No.=B2 I think there are a lot of complex societal
factors going on that contribute to despair and addiction and make for a
very lethal cocktail. Unavoidable? I think not. Very sad? Definitely.
