i for one prefer yahoo groups. i admit it is a personal pref as i am
on several other groups so it is a one stop shop for me. i also
almost never browse. i just use email to send/recv messages.

i can tell you that the neil young list i am using daily has 3000+
members and roughly 100-200 messages a day and it is running great.
