Obvious from the accent when he sings. I still recall one of his earlier
songs about a cat, cant exactly remember the cats name, very funny. Merely
noting where he was based in Oz not offending any of our Scottish brethren
as my next door neighbours are from outside Edinburgh and still have that
lovely accent after 40 years( not the thicker Glaswegian sort), but consider
themselves Australian, and bloody good ones they are too. If they come to
"Gods own country" we claim em. Although Russell C has stretched the
friendship in recent times.
Lew and Anna
PS - We are feeling particularly oily today as one of our friends at the gym
told me today his lady companion was dying of asbestosis. She worked for
Hardies building products, and her desk was literally covered every morning
in the dust. They found each other later in life so havent had the time they
could have.
Those company bastards knew but never told the workers so he is one bitter
guy.
