Cute. Consider reading what you reply to next time. You might notice
that I mentioned twice that I thought Maurice did the right thing by
agreeing to remove the track.

Of course they have the right to protect their interests using whatever
legal means they choose. But I stand by the idea that Powderworks
*should* be a place where we don't have to worry about one of the band's
representatives "turning us in" for activity that we discuss on the
list. I've participated in a lot of band lists over the years -- this
is the first time I've seen anything remotely like Justin's threat to
"take it up with the band". Apparently there are a lot of you who think
that's a perfectly wonderful element to add to our discussion. I happen
to disagree.

I suspect this will be a difficult exercise for some, but try separating
your feelings about whether the demo in question should be distributed,
from your feelings about the effect Justin's message might have on free
discussion in a forum like Powderworks. And by the way, I'm done with
Justin, I don't think he's a bad guy and I never suggested and would
never suggest that he shouldn't be on the list (not that it matters what
I think). I wouldn't have brought this up again, were it not for
Travis' mistaking his own linear thinking for my failure to think before
I wrote.

Last word goes to everyone else, I'm done,
