Hi everyone,
I am listening to the 7/11/02 Madison show for the first time since I
received the show and I have a question about the apparent problems Jim was
having during Too Much Sunshine. I noticed that in the second verse, Peter
begins singing it with just Rob's drums before Martin comes in. My question
is does Jim switch to acoustic in an attempt to recover or does he go
directly to keyboards. I thought I heard both. Anyway, I think it is the
greatest recovery on a live song I have ever heard because the song still
sounded amazing. Anyone with any info on this? Was anyone there to see what
was happening? Renaissance Man sounded great as well. It sounded like an
audience request.
Mere mortal bands would have probably stopped the song but not the magical
oils .
