This may not answer what he is playing now, but at the show last Nov. in St. Pete, Martin played a Guild Bluesbird almost the entire show.  The only time he switched to another guitar was for the acoustic numbers.  

However, someone posted some pictures from the show 2-3 nights earlier in Atlanta, and they clearly showed Martin playing the white Strat.  So, if it is retired, then it was rendered so just this year.

On a related note, I didn't know about Jim's Paisley Tele, which is why I commented that I never knew him to play Fenders.  Every picture I've ever seen showed him playing something other than a Fender. However, it seems like the Paisley guitar is pretty well known, which is perfectly cool with me 'cuz I'm a Fender/Tele man myself.
