Mandelbrot sets!!! Just got introduced to them in a
grad course this term. Fantastic! There are some very
cool videos made showing their beauty, and plenty of
free downloads/screensavers, etc. available by
searching mandelbrot+screensavers via dogpile, etc.

In the too much information department, I remember my
old mum dressing me up for early school photos in the
sixties in a flash paisley nero shirt, complete with
starched collar - had a bright orange and a lime green
one.... what my kids wouldn't give for them now.
