Both.  I have bark scorpions that get inside my townhouse on occasion, but
usually the cats find them first.  But I also have an assortment of tarantulas,
lizards, and snakes as well as an emporer scorpion in cages too in one of the
bedrooms.  They are part of my menagerie.  (I'm still trying to find names for
my sister's two Australian ridgetailed monitor lizards and am open to
suggestions of Aboriginal names.)
