Cheryl,

Please pass my sympathies on, as well.  I’ve made many friends on this list - - - most of whom I’ve never met.  But I’m 66 and I find that folks my age and younger leave this life every day.  I received word over the weekend that a friend from high school had passed.  It gives me pause on what impact I’ve had this earth, on family, close friends, distant friends, and mere email acquaintances . . .

I hope for the best, plan for the worst, and expect something in between.

Best Regards, Jeff

Subject: [powderworks] Messages for Steve's family

Hi all,

Thanks for all the messages coming in for Steve's family.  I'm passing along each one.  I'll be sending the package out on Monday, so I'll keep  a watch out until then.

This list was very active when I joined, and it was a lot of fun for me to connect with other fans, as well as all the banter and trading that went on.  It was even more fun for me to share in the experience of Oils shows, and to connect again on the GCT.

I can speak from experience about the level of compassion of the people on this list.  When my mom passed away, I got so many messages that it took weeks for me to read them all.  One of them came from someone who became one of my closest friends, along with a wedding invitation (to another 'Worker, I might add) to their wedding in Australia a few years later.  I have another close friend here who invited me to share my time with his family on that trip as well.

I'm sorry if I've never fully expressed my gratitude until now, but thank you all, and may God bless.

Cheers,

Cheryl
