Thanks for the info Jill.  Did you have to pick it up at the post office or customs, and did they notify you to do so?
My post office is a short walk from my house and I have been up there inquiring a couple times.  It would be easy
for me to go pick it up but so far nobody has asked me to do so.  What makes this so frustrating is that tracking
showed the package in my area but that for some reason it is delayed.  Why aren't they contacting me if there is
some kind of issue so I can at least know it isn't lost.

I am in the U.S. and I had to pick my shipment up. It didn't need to be paid for, however, I was just told it couldn't be delivered. I am having trouble with postal service in my area, but it sounds like this was widespread!

I asked this question on the Facebook page and people in the United States who ordered these sets haven't had to pay any customs taxes.
My order hasn't been delivered yet but I'm pretty sure it already went through customs.

I do appreciate the advice.

Hello Yasmin,

same here with my package. Had to pick it up from customs and pay taxes. As I had ordered the Super Pack the package contained the vinyl box, the two tanks and the T-Shirt...which led into trouble, as clothing is to be taxed with 12% and the CDs and the vinyl with 7%. As the shirt cannot be bought separately and therefor I wasn't able to provide an extra bill for it, so they charged the whole lot with 12%!!! They told me they didn't mean to charge me more than I normally would have had to pay...and that I should definitely try and get a proof / bill just for the shirt and then reclaim some money.

I often have to pick up stuff being sent from Australia or the U.S. from customs. Very rarely stuff gets through to my directly that costs more than 20 Euros...

Hi workers,

I had to pick up my box set from customs - usually it would have been
delivered directly to my address, but it seems that 24 Hundred didn't
stick to custom regulations (at least not to European ones) and didn't
stick some kind of international payment bill on the outside, so the
package was stopped in Frankfurt (where all international mail to
Germany arrives) by the German postal service and was sent to the
nearest customs office from my address (which was a 30 min drive, ack)
etc. - this might have caused "some" delay. Might have been the same
with your orders?

Regards

Yasmin
