I broadly agree, but I don't like the way it's been done (privately, via the self-appointed moderator of a fairly recently created Facebook group). And I still maintain that this list is the real Powderworks.

I didn't expect them to give us anything. I'm pleasantly surprised they thought of us. Good on them. It would have been easy to just sell them to whoever won the ballet.

The post on Facebook says that was for the (lousy) 50 tickets allocated for distribution to Powderworkers outside the ballot, not for the ballot itself.
I still think it's rather dirty, and I'm still a bit pissed off that the Facebook group is now being treated as the "real" Powerworks - sure, most of us are on there, but we've been here a lot longer!

I was not successful.  But I didn't have an opportunity to either.   The moderator of the Powderworks Facebook group removed people that didn't reside in NSW.   Oh and he and his buddies got tix for their troubles.

Smells like Trump.

Jim Moginie has said that if we get 100 people willing to buy his new EP, Under the Motherlands Flag, he'll consider producing a limited release on CD. If you're really interested please sign this petition and you'll have the chance St owning what will quickly become a rare item in the Oils canon. Sign here.
