Like so many other fans today I was not able to secure “pre-sale” tickets to the only Sydney show the band has at this point in time scheduled. While I was a little disappointed I know additional tickets will be going on sale next Monday, however without sounding like a whinger I am of the understanding shows in the USA are cheaper and in smaller venues......$100 for GA in the Domain open to the elements (hope the weather is good) and they have adequate toilet facilities for us older fans. Why however do we only get one show...? and if more are to be scheduled why don’t the fans get the choice of perhaps holding off for smaller venues and the options of knowing this before tickets go on sale for the Domain gig..... This is somewhat poor management and I expected better......I wonder just how many tickets went on-sale today.....

I would hope for more Sydney shows, oh yes there will be a “pub gig” before they go....but that will be for selected few if your lucky enough to be in the know or know someone who knows someone you may get to hear about it before it happens..... we have been screwed before with the band doing a unplugged gig in the US that we never got here in Aust. Fair shake of the sauce bottle for the Aust fans please.....don’t tell me that the band is that far removed from the business that is Midnight Oil to know what is going on......
