Maybe I am selfish, but I want the Oils to reunite once again and do one more farewell tour because I became a father. My sons are not just 10 and 11, but I want to give them the gift of seeing Midnight Oil in concert. The Oils were my all time favorite band to see live, I went every time I could to see them. As a teenager, I traveled a few hours away with no car to see them at Jones Beach with UB-40, then down to the Felt Forum in NYC, where I stood in line next to rats (literally) trying to eat leftover food (the rats, not me)... 

I want to give the gift to my kids - to experience the power and passion of Midnight Oil in concert. I hope this new album is just the start and that it leads to some NA tour.  I'll jump on a plane to see them again, but this time, with my sons.
