Wonder who is playing bass, as it'd be a hell of a commute for Bones.

Thanks Mathieu - sounds credible.

We know he started songwriting again, without really planning to according to what he said at the book promo I saw him at last year, after he'd finished said book.

There were rumours mentioned on the list recently of MO being back in the studio - either they've all been helping out, or maybe someone saw PG and JM (the most likely collaborator if there's only one) going into the studio and got slightly the wrong end of the stick.

The contemporary blues reference could also suggest RH and other members of the Backsliders are involved.

Add to this Gary Morris's involvement  (he officially resigned as their manager a few years ago) and it could all be pretty exciting.

Cheers,
David
ps the article did make a couple of mistakes - as we know, the Oils have played several notes, live at least, in the last 14 years. And there were two reunions - 2005 as well as 2009. From everything I've heard about the Courier Mail, detail is not their strongest journalistic point.

Thanks to the workers who gave me clues how to find him.

Cheers,

Hi Simon.

I’m really surprised that people continue to look at my MO pages.
I quit my internet provider and the old URL is no longer available.
I have to find a new provider and put the pages online again with a new URL.
I keep your message and will inform you when done.
Thanks a lot for your support.

Jeremie.

Hi Jeremie,

I just noticed these past few days that your Midnight Oil web site is no longer there.  I am hopeful you can fix whatever the issue is and have it up and running again.

I really appreciate the work you have put into it and I refer to it all the time for info on Midnight Oil.

Regards,

Simon Kierse
