There is an Australia Day special on rage tonight with some Midnight Oil and Warumpi Band content.

Set list straight from the rage face book page is as follows.

Wishing you all the best on this Australia Day! To mark the occasion, we're showing some top-notch Retro Month shows with a distinctly sun-burnt flavour.

First up is 'Ozmix', a music special from 1989 featuring live performances from Midnight Oil, Yothu Yindi, Jimmy Barnes - Official, Joe Geia Music and Art, Kev Carmody, Mixed Relations, Paul Kelly and Hunters & Collectors. Hosted by baby-faced hottie James Valentine no less!

Back by popular demand, we also have 'Rock & Roll Ballroom of the Air' recorded at Paddington Town Hall in 1974. It's a musical variety show hosted by Jon English featuring Marcia Hines, Doug Parkinson, The Allisons and Hush.

Then it's the fabulous documentary 'A Big Country' which follows Warumpi Band and Midnight Oil on their 1987 Blackfella/Whitefella tour, finishing up with a selection of videos from the Warumpi's.

It kicks off tonight from midnight on ABC1.

Both of these shows have been on before with the Ozmix show only on a matter of weeks ago.  However some of you may not have seen them.  Ozmix id Midnight Oils 4 song performance from an environmental show in 1989 called “Our Common Future.”  Songs are Bedz, PDTW, Hercules and Sometimes.

Sorry about the real late notice but just got home with the family from the Oz Day fireworks.
