Regarding the O'Shea version of Truth Walks Slowly. Jay O'Shea is Rob's first born daughter from a relationship when he was a teenager. They were recently reunited and he contributed the song for their latest album.

The single (When Darkness Comes) is available on Spotity (AU, anyway) for anyone who wants to hear it. https://open.spotify.com/track/7fGuikuggTGZj3sQW58y68

Not an instant classic IMO, but it does have a bit of that late 70's punk/garage sound. Makes me want to hear the rest of the album, so I guess it's done its job.

In searching for it, I also turned up this cover/extension/remix/duet version of one of Rob's recent song The Truth Walks Slowly - https://open.spotify.com/track/664NacB0nr3PP6c3ZqtvR9 which is...interesting?

(incidentally, the same CJK who uploaded the Backsliders video linked in another email in this thread - there's another video on the channel, and I have the whole thing as a DVD somewhere. I did seed on the list at one time, so there might be someone out there who can find it more readily than I can)
