A few years ago, I think it was when the Oils were entered into the ARIA hall of fame, Rob Hirst made some comments about "not enough complaint rock being heard". 

"Maybe it's being written" he said "but its not being heard".

To me, thats the most valid type of music. Having something to say other than "i miss you baby".

Thats why i thought id share this with you. I know its a bit spammy but there may be some interest within the group so...

Ive recorded and self produced an album centred on the abuse of power in human relations. Mostly the songs have a war theme but refer to the widespread disfunction in the way people often interact.
