I figured that I'd jump in since there's been some great discussion on the 10th anniversary. I was on Powderworks way back in college, which was from 1994 to 1998.  So I was definitely one of the earlier members. I still have fond memories of meeting the Oilman and many others back in 2001-2002 at the Chicago shows.

I don't post as much as I used to but still enjoy keeping up with all the news about Rob, Jim, and the whole gang. It's a thrill that so many are still so engaged by the Oils and their music.

Cheers!

Dan

Yes a heartfelt thankyou from me as well.  This list has been great for all things OILS and the robust discussions that sometimes occur.

Nice poetic song down below.  Couldn’t have ripped of the lyrics any better myself.  Well done.

Thank You Stephan and Powder Workers of The World for keeping the list alive and well
wild dog howls and the long grass whistles and the tall trees break
I hear much support for the logging industry
I hear the clear cuts are to remain
I see Clayoquot protectors in custody
I see Raging Grannies in chains
i just want to swim with the fish in the sea
