This has been my issue with the remasters. I'm no audiophile so they sound good to me. However without the sticker you wouldn't know it's the 'new' version. The artwork, especially on the earlier albums just looks like a cheap facsimile. Surely a quick cleanup of the art wouldn't have been impossible?Frosty

I ordered mine from JB Hi Fi, they sent all the discs in one package, and then 10,9,8 came in a separate package (all the way from Aus). The 10,9,8 CD wasn't remastered, even though it clearly showed I ordered it properly. I had to prove to them I didn't get the right one, even though it was obvious and on the disc the catalogue number didn't have the R like the others. They finally just sent me the proper replacement, no word yet if I'm gonna send the other back yet.So they wasted a second package on a disc I didn't even order. They probably wasted a fair bit on shipping that to the states!Todd----- Original Message -----Sent: Monday, August 04, 2014 5:13 PMSubject: Re: [powderworks] Question for anyone who got the remastered CDs
Thanks Pat. Yes this does help. D&D doesn't have the sony dadc on it like the others, so I must have gotten the wrong one.-----Original Message-----

Ordered my eps on sanity, species deceases had no stickers on cover, i checked with their support proving that it wasn't the renastered one. They sent me another copy, this one with stickers. You can check the matrix on the cd, if theres "sony dadc" on it that should be a remastered one. My cds ordered from uk and australia have that on the matrix. Hope it helps

For anyone who bought the remastered Oils CDs was Diesel and Dust like theothers in that it was unsealed and had the "Digitally Remastered" and "In Support of Midnight OilExhibition" stickers on it, or was it sealed without any stickers? I just got my copy of Diesel andDust today, a month after I received the other CDs and it shipped from Hong Kong instead of Australia, sealed and with no stickers.Just wondering if I got the right version of Diesel and Dust or not (although it probably doesn't matter - I havethe deluxe edition from a couple years ago and the 2014 reissue probably has the same mastering as it does).Thanks.Mike in LA
