What's exciting is, that even BSM and ESM are getting a remastered
release! These weren't included in the digital only releases.

board, to my ear the remasters are improved in sound quality. at
first i quibbled a bit with his choice on Progress, but i suppose
he's entitled if anyone is, and i do like his version better than
the original release anyways. D&D is probably closest to the
original, but in the US we got Gunbarrel Highway, and the rest of
the remaster sounds like its a better recording as well.
D&D is both the most similar and the one which contains the largest
changes - in particular, Sometimes is more of a remix than a remaster.
IMO it's not worth it, the original sounded fine.
I agree the others are better across the board. Unfortunately some
rather modern aggressive dynamic range compression has crept in during
mastering, but there's more to sound quality than DR.
Interesting that they're getting a CD release now - I wasn't expecting
that until the boxset.
