3 weeks of petrol is what we sit on in Australia at any given time before we run out. (jet fuel, diesel, by products etc is different)  People say we shouldn't worry about a war impacting our main line to Asian fuel. Fine. But what about natural disasters....

Thanks for all the kind words -  much appreciated. We will be fine as we live frugally and don't have kids! Grant said all he heard yesterday in the office was people calling and canceling things like health insurance, school trips etc and applying for jobs in the middle east, so they can leave the wife and kids here in their home. so for families it really sux. Us and the cats will be ok!

Gotta' love the footage at 0:40 of the steel skeleton of the Exxon building ... changing into the keys of a guitar.

PS - Sorry to hear about your husband's work KC. And not just for your sakes. It seems to make Australia much more vulnerable if we're not refining here in Australia.

PSS - As to Peter Garrett's plans David E., I heard he was writing a book.

No real reason for posting this...other than it's a cracking good song and has a nice mix of live footage from the Exxon protest guerrilla show, and given that fossil fuel companies are still running as rampant (if not more) compared to a couple of decades ago while the world cooks, such a protest is as apt as ever.

Cheers
