I totally agree about the guitar parts. Even Aussie fans by and large don't recognise the greatness of the guitar interactivity from the oils. 

For most it's all about fist pumping.

Even worse when your living overseas that most people don't even know who the oils are or if they do it's Beds which most think of as a novelty song along the lines of Down Under.

Guys like us we view the oils as one of if not the greatest band ever, for a myriad of reasons that guitar interaction included.

For all the oils proud boasts of how they did it their way their legacy only reaches as far as Australia by and large. I know there are handfuls of internationals that rate them for the same reasons I do but they don't have the status they should have and I think it's largely their own fault. 

They should still be a going concern. They should have pushed on. But Garret's ego outwitted him. That's what I think anyway.
