I personally don't want to see MO reform.  Instead I'd much rather they preserve their legacy with a comprehensive box-set as often discussed here.  Either way, I think the next few months will make both of these possibilities more real.

Federally, Labor are gone at the next election.  There is still a very good chance Gillard will step down and Rudd reinstated in a Labor Party effort to avoid the imminent electoral annihilation that could see Labor relegated to the opposition for the next two to three terms (i.e. what has happened here in Queensland).  Garrett is again signally he won't serve under Rudd (and who would blame him?) but a Rudd lead Labor party, either going into the election or in opposition post September, is looking more and more likely by the day.

Interesting times.
