1. put all the files you want to upload in one folder
2. make sure you include a text file (usually called info.txt or readme.txt) where you describe the torrent. you can use one of those you downloaded as example. there is no hard fast rule but you should usually include the following: band name, date, venue, track listing, lineage (if known), tech info such as format, bitrate and if video also resolution, codec, etc. as well as any comments other need to know (e.g. song X cuts in the middle because I had to change battery)
3. make sure that if you are doing flac files to include the .md5 checksum file. the utility you used to encode should allow you to generate this. this is important. read here - http://wiki.dimeadozen.org/index.php/DimeFAQ:Frequently_Asked_Questions#DIME_is_rejecting_my_torrent_of_FLAC_files_--_or_I_had_to_supply_an_.md5_file_as_well_as_fingerprints_to_make_DIME_accept_it_--_because_the_fingerprint_file_has_a_name_ending_in_.txt_or_.ffp.txt_instead_of_.ffp._What_can_I_do.3F
4. in utorrent select from the menu file --> create new torrent
5. click add directory and add the folder where the files are
6. in the tracker field, erase the ones listed and add the DaD tracker - http://bt.dimeadozen.org/announce.php
7. click create and save the torrent somewhere but not in the folder where your files are
8. upload the .torrent to DaD. as part of the process it will also allow you to upload the .txt file too
9. download the .torrent file as if you were downloading somebody else's torrent
10. save it somewhere but not in the folder where your files are
11. open it in utorrent and when prompted for the location to save the download point to the folder where your files are
12. utorrent should check the files, see that everything is there and begin seeding
