Midnight Oil

I  an archivist and the Epson V700 is about 400 bucks and can be used to do slides,
negatives and flat documents and photos. The 700 does large and medium format
which is why we got it, but the 500 will do slides and negatives and can be
used for other things as well. Passes the archival test when I gave a talk
anyway!

I took the pieces you threw away
And put them togather (sic.) by night and day
Washed by rain, dried by sun,
A million pieces all in one.

Be nice to the archivist, or she will erase you from history.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a photo negative scanner? I "stumbled across" this gig when I was in NYC (long story), had my camera with me, and took a shedload of pix. Had one blown up to poster size that I got the band to sign and Willie asked me for a copy to send to Rob. Would love to share the pix with the group, but they're sitting in a box in my basement.
