Actually, I was thinking about something similar on the train home -
what would a hypothetical Oils-ignorant music writer think about The
Break? One imagines something like:

"The Break possess a relentless energy few bands can match - it's just
a shame their commercial prospects are damped by their failure to find
a lead singer who can match it"
