I don't think you'll find any Oils performances from 2008.............

Perhaps you're thinking of the 3 links that I recently posted:

Torrent  #179962  Midnight Oil and Warumpi Band - Melbourne, 7th March 1987 PAL DVD
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=179962

Torrent  #252395  Midnight Oil - Newtown Theatre, Sydney 18th July 2000 DVD
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=252395

Torrent  #249916  Midnight Oil - Up Close in the Capital - Canberra - 03-12-2009
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=249916

Our good friend scmods always posts excellent Oils shows on DIME. They can be found by searching "midnight oil" (include the inverted commas) on DIME.

One (audio) show I recently downloaded that I thought was particularly good was this one:

Torrent  #264226  Midnight Oil - Santa Cruz, 8th July 1994
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=264226

This one (another audio) is also a stand-out:

Torrent  #246845  Midnight Oil - Chicago 4th July 2002 FLAC
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=246845

Cheers,
Gary.

i've arrived at a permanent solution. part of the problem has been that like BOBW these are in PAL format. rather than continue to convert to NTSC i'm going to buy a universal player that will handle PAL. they are cheap enough now days that it is impractical to take the time and trouble to convert anymore.
