i agree with you here. the behaviour that irritates me more than anything in the entire global warming debate is the religious approach people have. as-if there is but one true solution and all others are heresies. we have a huge mountain to climb and it wont happen quickly and it wont have a single solution. France gets 60%+ of its electricity from nuclear. i believe other EU nations get significant amounts too. does this mean nuclear is a shoe-in? no. but it does mean that it is a workable solution that should be explored. ofcourse it has risks and downsides. what solution doesnt?
