Hi All

Well, what an awesome night!!!!  Made the 3 hour drive with 3 mates to Canberra, and the 3 hour drive home, not really knowing what to expect. We had all been to heaps of gigs before and we were all blown away by the energy of last night. I also managed to get up on stage and won the Rob impersonation. Got a shirt signed by Rob and a fully signed poster!!!! I am one lucky boy. They are being framed and going "straight to the pool room"!!! Aussie powdies who have seen "The Castle" will understand. Someone please start a petition for Pete to "Give up his day job". His night job is "SO MUCH BETTER" for him and us. Hope everyone who could make it had an awesome time last night. Commiserations to all the o'seas powdies. They did have a very official video camera recording the whole show, so hopefully they will release it.

  I don't know if anyone caught it, but last night on Rachel Maddow, at the very end of her show she talked for a few moments about Pete & Midnight Oil and the upcoming gig. Vids of Pete & the Boys playing in the background. Rachel's show on MSNBC is is HUGE in the states now.
