must admit i did not see much of the crowd. i was at the privileged position of the rail so between typing the set list, snapping pics, doing "the hand", playing air drums, singing, jumping and thinking "shit, i still have to go and work after this" i did not pay much attention to whats behind me. from sneaking a few glances everyone was up (in fact much of the seats had to since they were so low that seated the GA folks would have blocked their view), the cheers were loud and the air hot (contributed slightly to by my dinner's aftermath). the guy behind me knew all the lyrics (which i didnt) and was way off key (which i wasnt)

all in all - a typical oils gig.

Waaaaaah!  I'm shrieking with jealousy!  Gr8 pics Miron, but there's definitely something wrong with your camera, because the pictures make it appear as if Jim wasn't wearing a nerd shirt.  Impossible!

Nobody has said anything about the crowd or the level of enthusiasm - how was it? - Beth

here are some more pics --> http://picasaweb. google.com/ mironmizrahi/ Canberra12032009 ?authkey= Gv1sRgCIqt_ q7C-ueQbQ&feat=directlink

these are raw guys. i did not rotate or delete the fuzzy ones.

key to note that the oils extensive use of lighting (especially the dark-ish blue and red) are hard to capture with my little 3.2mp Canon. not to mention the fact that they dont stay still for very long :)

Todd - there are a few non-PG pics there :)

Thanks for the heads up on here Sarah!,

Does this bother anyone besides me but it sure seems like this collection is not of midnight oil but of Peter Garrett, jeeze! Don't you think it would be nice to have more pics of the band members! I think I can see Bone's back in one and Martin from 25 feet away.

:-(

Keep any updates links coming!!
