As far as I know they have new stuff....  They are trying to think of a new name for them.. So what I get from that is that they will be a new band, that happen to have ex Oils members...
I can't really see Rob Martin and Jim doing the Oils thing over again.. They are too creative and prolific a songwriter to rehash things that they have done...  (IMHO)

Recording an album to me sounds like they've got new material - wasn't
there another set of sessions that came to nothing, way back? And
anyhow, it's not like Jim and Rob have stopped writing songs - while I
love "Beat the House" and "Alas Folkloric", I'm sure they've both got
songs that they're thinking "I really need the Oils to do this one right".
