I wonder how long Gorbachev had to keep his mouth shut before he arrived at the position of ultimate power and then quietly and single-handedly shut down the entire Union of Soviet Socialist Republics' miserable operations.

I'm not saying that's Pete's game.� I'm just saying that you don't get to call the shots till you're at the top.� And you don't get to the top by trying to call the shots from the bottom.

I believe in complexity, ambiguity, paradox.� Simplistic formalism is for children.
