I don't think it's because it wouldn't fit on vinyl. I have both the
vinyl and CD of D&D and it's not on either.

As for the "S" word, I can't believe that would be the reason. This
was the late 1980's for goodness sake! After all, back in the 1960's,
the Jefferson Airplane had no trouble getting the phrase "Up against
the wall motherf***er" onto an album ("We Can Be Together" on
Volunteers). Did MO or their record company really think our fragile
sensibilities would be harmed by the word shit????

5 songs one side, 6 on the other, there may not have been space -

maybe that's why the vinyl finished with Sometimes.

 
It was a long time ago, but were there issues with the 'S' word in

GB H'way in some countries?

The U.S. version of D&D did not include Gunbarrel Highway, never did.
I could never figure out why.
