OK, so what about asking the question to the group if anyone is in
video footage of the Oils ? Are you in the crowd at the Goat Island
show, or earlier - such as the Myer Music Bowl or Wanda Beach ? Are
you the guy that jumped up on stage at The Capitol Theatre in 1982
during Power and the Passion ? Are you waving the Greenpeace banner in
Montreal, Canada ? What about earth focussed shows in Boston,
unplugged at Ronnie Scotts UK or the Truganini clip filmed under the
Brookly Bridge in NYC ?
What claim to fame do you have as far as close up and personal
with the Oils ?

I also got to "meet", if you can call it that, the Oils during the ESM
tour by bringing a CD of Outbreak of Love. I couldn't find the
cassette so I bought the CD and luckily I was let in. This was at the
Jones Beach Theater in New York. I was determined to get Martin to
talk since I had never heard his voice. Whenever I saw the Oils,
Martin never spoke or even had a microphone in front of him, whether
it was live or when the Oils showed up on a TV show or an old recorded
concert. I figured this guy must have a voice like Mickey Mouse since
he never even gets a mic so I said something to him, (can't remember
what it was although I remember it was a comment and not a question),
that was designed to get him to say something. For him to not respond
would have been very rude and it never occurred to me that he would be
rude. Well he did respond to my comment and I was surprised to hear
that he has a completely normal voice and sounds nothing like Mickey
Mouse.
