The King Of The Mountain remix known as Nix Mix is I (think)
the single version which the radio stations play. Listen to
the single compared to the version on the album and you will
find it's a different mix. Needless to say it was remixed by
Nick Launey.

I *think* (not sure) that might also be the onethat's on 20000 Watt RSL.

Also Power And The Passion and Dead Heart had shorter
versions released to radio stations... although radio
stations now only play the studio versions.

The Dead Heart original 12" release (which preceded the album by at least
twelve months or more) was longer than the album version as well, so that's
another mix.

Someone also mentioned the Great Gibber Plain ambient version and the
Cemetery In My Mind True Believers Blind version, though to me those are
completely separate recordings of the songs rather than different mixes.

And I guess the "Instrumental" Outside World counts as well.

And another which just came to mind - Say Your Prayers from the Liberdade -
East Timor compilation was also different to the one on The Real Thing (a
slightly longer intro I think).

Plus the No Man's Land single, which had three versions of the song on it.

I did once make a 2 CD set of all these "alternate" versions. Guess I
should dig it out and see what else is on there.
