that's it?

I thought you were going some of the things you remember Peter saying in the interview

so just an hour or so ago on NPR I heard "and coming up, we will meet an
Australian singer turned politician" my ears perked, and then the next
thing I heard was a sound clip from (what else) "Beds are Burning".

I sat by the radio waiting to hear about Pete for about 45 minutes. I
always listen to the station, but I didn't want to miss THAT. I thought
they would have lots to say about Pete and his career (an
interview?).Needless to say I was excited. Finally, they recited the
lyrics to "Blue Sky Mine" and said that the guy who wrote those lyrics
was now in Australian Parliament, and barely scratched the surface about
him. They went on to talk not more about Pete, but about other
musicians-turned-politicians (yeah, yeah, Sonny Bono, whatever.....).

so, if you heard about the story coming up but didn't get the scoop,
DON'T go to npr.org and purchase a transcript of the story.

  meh.
