Roger Waters "Amused to Death" album would be worth checking out too.
And if you can find it, "A Promise of Peace" by Lee Saunders. This is the
best "concept" album I've ever heard, telling the story of the Second World
War from a British perspective. I know that sounds like something that
would be bloody awful but it is brilliantly done. Even if you can't find
the album, the website www.leesaunders.com will be very useful for what you
are doing.
And the Hunters and Collectors songs "What's A Few Men?" (war) and "Running
Water" (environment) as well.
