Yasmin,
When the Oils first started showcasing upcoming tracks from =
"Capricornia" in Feb/ Mar 2001, Pete sang the first line of "Too much =
Sunshine" as "Haven't had so much fun since my daddy took the T-bird =
away", followed by something, something,"naked day fricassee". After =
one of the shows I grabbed a lyric sheet from the stage and posted the =
contents to the list. Then the next night the roadies were very diligent =
to remove all such material from the stage, very obviously to prevent =
unreleased / uncopyrighted material from being released to the public at =
large. Perhaps somebody else saw the same similarity to the Beach Boys =
lyrics and bought it to the band's attention.
Just my two cents worth.
