Dark Green is the stunning debut album from Sydney based Dirty Lucy. Recorded in Australia at Mangrove, The Vault and Milkbar studios and engineered by Brent Clarke, Dark Green encapsulates the gritty sounds that define this new Australian act and have them gaining fans at home and across the USA and Europe.

Joined by an impressive line up including Terepai Richmond (The Whitlams), Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil), Alex Hewitson (DIG), Epizo Bangoura and Dave Steel, Nicole Brophy and Jodi Moore present a style of music that is fragrant of roots based music with a rebellious electric streak. Brophy’s deep set vocal melodies and solid guitar riffs bulk the sound, that is defined by Moore’s unconventional six string electric violin sound scapes, and overdriven mandolin strokes.
