I do agree with the sentiment that Lollapalooza is an
annoying entity, but the following good bands did/will
play there:

Sonic Youth
Beck
Pavement
George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars
The Breeders
Guided by Voices
Yo La Tengo
A Tribe Called Quest
The Beastie Boys
Jurassic Five (this year)
Superchunk

While several of these acts only played the 2nd stage,
enough good bands still warranted several visits in
the mid-'90s, even though much of the crowd were
dis-interested in these bands.
