I think that they would probably play Dead Heart, Blue Sky, and Beds and if
not those then other songs that are along the same lines popularity wise.
But if I could chose for them I would pick Renaissance Man, Powderworks and
then of course If Ned Kelly Was King. Renaissance Man because it's got that
sweet organ and a good PG harmonica solo and rant along with some really
nice crunchy guitars. Powderworks because that's where it all started, not
to mention the wicked guitars and the high energy the song has. And Ned
Kelly because it is my all time fav song and I never got to see it live, and
of course if the Oils got inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I would
be there to see them in a second!

Hi,

last night VH1 aired the RnR HoF ceremony for 2003. many worthwhile
inductees - Clash, aka-daka, Police....

got me thinking about the Oils. I doubt they stand a chance but you
never know.

anyway, traditionally each inductee gets to play 3 songs. either a
2-1 or a 1-2 set.

if the Oils ever make it - what 3 songs should they play and why?
