So I assume that of all these things you cite, you have proof.

Am I brain-washed, hmmm, possibly, I listen to the Oils so much that what
they sing about rings true. I question the government but I also know I
cannot do a whole lot to change things except when its time to vote.

I think you are blaming "Americans" when they have little or no control over
corrupt leaders.
