<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">I’ve been listening to Capricornia for about a week and a half now. Before I start to comment the album, I want to point out that those who have a problem with fans expressing their personal views regarding the Oils latest work should stop reading now. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">I believe this is the best album since ESM, it’s got great songs throughout and I like that the “A crocodile cries”-theme was repeated at the end of Poets and Slaves. It gives you a hint of a concept album. I think the quote “Maybe we’ll get around to that magnum opus the next time” by Jim sounds promising, it would be very cool with an oils concept album.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">I was surprised when I heard the studio version of Under the Overpass the first time because it was so “up-tempo”. The way I remember the song from the live shows I saw last year was that it was more like a ballad. It’s nothing wrong with the studio version but I would have liked it better in a slower pace.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">I hear parallels between Tone Poem and Safety Chain Blues because they have both got an interesting song structure and they both end in a great coda. Luritja way feels very Diesel and Dust, a great song and Bones solo part enhances the song even more. Been away to long is my least favourite but it’s still a good song. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">Too Much Sunshine and Mosquito March are the songs with the most power. Even though I like Mosquito more (My second favourite on the album), I miss the nice vocal harmonies from Too much Sunshine.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">World That I See is the most brilliant song on the album, it’s got the strongest chorus and it goes straight to my top-ten-oils-songs-list, which now is my top-eleven-oils-song-list :-)<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">Golden Age is another brilliant song. Jim’s guitar work is outstanding.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">The final song to comment on is Capricornia, and all I have to say about it is that it’s another great song from the world’s best band.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB">Ps. (nmoc) To Lachlan: Yes I have the new Dream Theater album. It’s not as good as “Scenes From A Memory” but it’s still worth to purchase. The best track on there is the 42-minute song “Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence”. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
