That IS odd...although the West sure lucked out on this tour, as did the
Midwest, with tons of dates in easy reach.  Eastern Canada's been gypped
on this one.  Back in May(?) I had heard a rumour of them playing in
Toronto "sometime around the end of July / beginning of August" but no
further info was ever received....the tour front seems deathly quiet. 
Also, that "European tour" didn't turn out to be much either, unless
they're still gearing up to do a spat of currently unannounced
dates...if they ever get Capricornia out over there, anyway.

BTW, I'm curious...did you take the past couple weeks as vacation to
drive/fly around the country to see all the shows?  How did you manage
to arrange THAT one?! <absolutely green with envy>

Hehe...never been there, but I've heard Utah is beautiful.  I am SO
tempted to cash in some Air Miles & zoom out there, but unfortunately
last minute impulse trips are no longer possible.
