Wow, Lina, this is too hideous to be possible. I have a management job
myself and I'm pretty sure this is unlawful, providing that you weren't
using your company's name during the protest. They can ask you not to
bring it up on work time but they have no legal standing to write you up
for something you did on your own time. This sort of thing would NEVER
be tolerated at my company - If I did what your boss did, my ass would
be out the door so fast it'd make your head spin. There are good jobs
out there, with good companies that will reward your brains and free

And the worst of all is, that some companies (where I work is one good
example) follow those "news", and I was actually "written up" yesterday
for attending the Oils show in Milwaukee, and participating in
anti-Yucca stuff. My company said it was against their policy, and if I
get written up for something like that again, I will be terminated.
(the other 2 write ups are because I complained about the fork-lifts
almost running people over in the hallway for a joke, which I didn't
think was very funny one)
