radio 2mmm in Sydney I heard this morning have announced that there will be
a fire relief concert of some description but as of this point in time there
have been no details or bands announced. So it does look like there will be
something. Heres an idea, what about getting the few big names on the bill,
then inviting some of the unknown bands, i mean really unknown bands playing
around the place for some time on the bill to get exposure infront of 50,000
people instead of being first on the bill out of four bands, playing to the
barmaid and chef and 5 of the locals in some pub somewhere. Superstar
headline acts are great, but a change would be good.

Just a thought!
Wouldn't it be great to see a few Aussie bands such as the Oils the
Spy's,James Reyne,Richard
Clapton,The Living End etc etc, got together and did a fire relief gig where
all proceeds went
towards those who have lost so much in the recent fires.
As i said, just a thought!!
