Capricornia is great work indeed!!! One of their best. The songs you list
do shine especially brightly. But you neglected mention of "Say Your
Prayers." I remember this song when seeing them live at Orlando in November
2001. I was simply overwhelmed by the song then.....and still am now.

I am in Sydney right now, listening to Capricornia at work which aint out
till monday I believe in record stores, I got mine earlier this week, Its
not what you know, but who you know and where u work I suppose. A very
"Blue Sky" sounding album, with stand outs being "Been away too long",
"Mosquito March", "Overpass" and "Too much Sunshine" IMHO. This is great
work! It wont get anywhere near the heights of previous sellers such as
blue sky or diesel, but I would rate this record as one of their best, if
not. This is focused and the flow and song sequence is brilliant. I think
this record is about the songs and not the technology, combining melody with
some gangling guitars which do let fly at times, some timley keyboards
brought in at those key moments in the song and those back up vocals which
seem to gel just nice with pete.

Letterman has been taping shows on Mondays since he moved to CBS in 1993.
Prior to that on NBC, they taped shows on Tuesday-Friday and Monday's were
reruns.

something seems strange - originally, they were supposed to be on letterman
on the 27th, but now they're scheduled to be on on the 25th. the 25th is a
monday and as far as i know, letterman never tapes new shows on mondays -
those days are reserved for him to tape the "extras" (like scenes outside
and stuff) hmm....
