Hi Powdies,

Now that it's been a few days and had time to sink in....I've taken a
few days break from Oils cd's in my car; I don't quite trust my driving
abilities should I get all emotional while listening to one yet.  I
certainly hope that this official breakup will not preclude them from
possibly performing together for one event or another someday; I'll be
keeping emergency funds on hand for a short-notice plane ticket if
possible.  Shall we start a database directory of Powdie concert
crashpads?

Despite all the rationalizing to myself about it being a new beginning,
treasure the memories, new music from the others someday, and all
that....at the end of the day all I feel is a great void and sense of
loss.  Loss of great music, loss of my sense of direction.  Loss of the
marchers with the torch at the front that I've followed for so long.
Just a big empty space where there used to be anticipation for what's
next from them.

I would like to ask if anyone recorded and/or has a copy of the
Milwaukee Summerfest show last July 6.  I have not seen this one offered
as a weed yet, and it was my one and only live Oils concert - having
this one to hang onto would mean a great deal to me.  I would also like
to be considered for any VCD weeds / trees; to this point haven't
attempted to get onto any of them, but it's now or never land.  Wishing
now more than ever that I had taken a few more days off on vacation to
see them in Madison too.
