Hi everyone,

I just joined Powderworks, although I have been a fan of Midnight Oil for 
the past 12 years or so.  They are indeed my favorite group.

I just saw them for the 5th time in Washington D.C. at the 9:30 Club.  
Fortunately, I got there early enough to be right up front.  It was a 
fantastic concert -- I even got one of Rob Hirst's sticks.

One of my dreams is to meet Peter Garrett.  He has been a big inspiration in 
my life. Not only the music and lyrics, but his passion about the 
environment helped shape my views throughout the years.

They are coming to my area in March.  Will anyone give me some advise on how 
I can meet them/get backstage passes?  I would greatly appreciate it.

By the way, my second favorite bands/singers are:
Peter Murphy
Peter Himmelman (yes, it is weird that my all time favorite singers are 
named Peter)
Grant Lee Buffalo

Also favorites, but to a lesser extent:

Gomez
Tori Amos
They Might Be Giants

Older favorites:
Yes, Rush, Emerson Lake and Palmer, King Crimson
