Though they were never as successful overseas as MO, they were arguably more successful on Oz than MO, despite a shorter career. On a personal note, following my teenage niece expressing interest in CC, I've been listening to their albums on continuous play on my iPOD, after not having given them a go for quite a while...and I'm appreciating their work more than ever - dynamic guitar and beautiful vocals from Ian Moss, fluid bass lines from Phil Small, Barnesy (what can I say?) Don Walker's keyboard stabs and awesome songwriting, and Prestwich's fabulous drumming. All of which had me looking forward even more keenly to (another) reformation tour this year behind a new album, which they've been working on for nearly a year - they've taken the time to make sure they get it right before releasing it to the legion of fans. A sad loss indeed. Regs David
